Sharvari picked a venue with history for a film that's leaning hard into nostalgia. The actor kicked off promotions for Yeh Prem Mol Liya with a music launch at Mumbai's Royal Opera House, a space that's hosted generations of families watching films long before multiplexes existed.
She posted glimpses from the evening on Instagram, and the caption did some of the heavy lifting. "Royal Opera House, where generations came together with their families to watch stories, songs and films come alive," she wrote. "What a beautiful place to begin promotions for a Sooraj Barjatya film – Yeh Prem Mol Liya!"
The choice isn't incidental. This is Sharvari's first film with Barjatya, and her first with Ayushmann Khurrana too, so there's a bit of a full-circle moment being sold here alongside the actual music. Barjatya's cinema has always run on family, sentiment and songs that stick around longer than the films do, and the Opera House, all velvet and old-world ornament, fits that register better than a hotel ballroom ever would.
Sharvari said the evening was one she'd "hold close to her heart," which is the kind of line you'd expect from someone stepping into a Barjatya set for the first time. His films have a reputation for pulling actors into a particular emotional zone, and starting the promotional run at a heritage venue rather than the usual trailer-drop-and-press-junket routine suggests the team is leaning into that old-school image on purpose.
Not much has been said yet about what Sharvari's character actually does in the film, or how her track fits into what's being described as a story about family, emotions and music. That's standard for a music launch, plot details tend to show up closer to release. What we do know is the release date: Yeh Prem Mol Liya is set for November 27, 2026, giving the promotional cycle a little over two months to build.
With the title track already out and doing its rounds online, the pressure now shifts to trailer timing. Barjatya films typically don't rush that reveal, preferring to let the music do the early work.
