Spider-Man: Brand New Day is now available for digital rental and purchase in the US — but not on Disney+ or Netflix in India, at least not yet. The film, starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Sadie Sink, made its premium video-on-demand (PVOD) debut on October 6, 2026, more than two months after its theatrical release. Viewers in the US can rent it for $24.99 or buy it for $29.99 through Apple TV, Prime Video, Fandango, and Sony Pictures Core. An Amazon Prime membership isn’t required to access the title on Prime Video. This model means no subscription, just a one-time fee to watch the film at home. It’s the same path taken by recent Marvel releases like The Batman and Dune: Part Two. But for audiences outside the US, especially in India, the story is different. There’s no confirmed streaming date for Netflix or Disney+ in the region. Mathrubhumi English reported that while Sony has an existing agreement with Netflix covering its theatrical releases. Including Marvel-based films, the timing of a US-wide Netflix rollout remains unannounced. That arrangement also includes plans for Netflix to become the first subscription streaming platform for Sony films in individual territories, subject to rights availability. Meanwhile, Disney+ could still get the film under a separate deal between Sony and Disney covering US streaming rights for Sony’s theatrical releases from 2022 to 2026. But no official date has been set. The physical release arrives later: 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray editions are scheduled for December 15, 2026, with a digital code included. A limited collector’s edition is also available for pre-order. The film’s box office success is already notable. It crossed $1 billion globally in just six days, marking Tom Holland’s biggest single-box-office milestone yet. For now, Indian viewers who want to watch it at home have only two options: wait for a regional streaming announcement or seek out unofficial sources. The official route? Still closed.
