"It might be a nice Independence Day or Christmas present," Vijan said, keeping the plot under wraps but promising a surprise for fans. He also used the platform to spotlight director Amar Kaushik’s upcoming venture, a myth‑based epic titled Mahavatar that explores the story of Bhagwan Parshuram. According to Vijan, Kaushik aims to finish Mahavatar by June 2027, after which he will turn his attention to Stree 3.
Actor Rajkummar Rao, who starred in the original horror‑comedy, reflected on the modest origins of the first film. He described the budget as “very independent” and recalled the team’s confidence in the story despite limited resources.
