Drishyam 3: The Conclusion opened on Friday, October 2, 2026, with a reported first-day global collection that matches the early momentum of Dhurandhar 2 — a benchmark in recent Indian releases. The film, starring Ajay Devgn, Jaideep Ahlawat, Tabu, and Shriya Saran, released across 4,000 screens in India, marking one of the widest openings for a Hindi film this year.

According to Bolly Movie Reviewz, it’s estimated to have cleared ₹110 crore to be considered average, and ₹130 crore to qualify as a hit. That puts pressure on its opening numbers, which are still being tracked but appear strong enough to match the legacy of its predecessors, Drishyam (2013) opened at ₹5.87 crore, while Drishyam 2 (2022) started at ₹14.92 crore.

This time, the budget is higher: ₹110 crore including promotion and star salaries, up from ₹90 crore for the second film. Meanwhile, Veer Pahariya’s Prem Keetanu, released on the same day, opened on just 800 screens and is expected to need ₹25 crore to break even, ₹30 crore to be deemed successful.

The contrast in scale. 4,000 vs 800 screens, ₹110 crore vs ₹25 crore budgets, shows how the market is bifurcating. One film is aiming for franchise dominance. The other, quiet survival. And while Drishyam 3’s performance will define whether the series can sustain its cultural grip, Prem Keetanu’s fate hinges on word-of-mouth.

The next 48 hours will tell if the sequel lives up to the name. Or if the conclusion was just another beginning.
