Prabhas’s next two films—Fauzi and Spirit—are now set to avoid major box-office clashes, but the move has fans asking: is this a blessing or a curse?
Prabhas’ next film, Fauzi, is now set for a March 18, 2027 release—pushed back from its original December 2026 window. The shift comes as the makers eye a major rollout date, possibly to avoid clashing with his other high-profile actioner Spirit, which was earlier slated for March 5, 2027.

Fauzi’s planned December 3, 2026 premiere has been pulled, leaving fans to wonder if the film will take over Spirit’s March 5, 2027 window, or if both will shift further.
Ram Gopal Varma uploaded a photo with Sandeep Reddy Vanga on Instagram, captioned “The SPRITE of the SPIRIT 😎”. Both are attached to T‑Series projects – Vanga’s action drama Spirit starring Prabhas and Varma’s crime thriller Police Company with Harshvardhan Rane.
Prabhas' period actioner Fauzi, announced for a December 3 release, is reportedly being pushed to February 2027 after mid-range films crowded the December slot, with Netflix talks pending and Spirit possibly delayed as a result.
Chatter around Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit suggests a Vimal Theatre sequence and a stripped-down Prabhas look could be among the film's boldest moments, with the team currently on a shooting break.
South Indian cinema's Hindi box office momentum has cooled after recent flops from Ram Charan, Jr NTR and Yash, but a 2027 slate led by Allu Arjun's Raaka, Prabhas' Spirit and Mahesh Babu's Varanasi aims to restore it.
