Watch the first trailer for ‘Honey Don’t!,’ a twisted new dark comedy that reunites Margaret Qualley with director Ethan Coen in a wild, offbeat adventure.

HONEY DON'T - Official Trailer [HD] - Only in Theaters August 22

Following last year's Drive-Away Dolls, Focus Features has released the first trailer for Honey Don't!, a dark comedy that reunites Margaret Qualley and director Ethan Coen.

Qualley plays the title character of Honey O'Donahue, a small-town private investigator who investigates a string of odd deaths connected to an enigmatic church in Honey Don't!, which is scheduled for release in theatres on August 22.

The cast also features Charlie Day, Billy Eichner, Lera Abova, Jacnier, Gabby Beans, Talia Ryder, Kristen Connolly, Lena Hall, Don Swayze, Josh Pafchek, Kale Browne, Alexander Carstoiu, Christian Antidormi, and Aubrey Plaza and Chris Evans.

Honey Don't! was filmed in New Mexico last year and is said to have a similar tone as Drive-Away Dolls. We reported about the project initially. This year's Cannes Film Festival's Midnight Screenings will host its world debut, and Universal Pictures International will distribute it globally.

Coen directed from a script he co-wrote with his wife, Tricia Cooke, a seasoned editor who has edited Coen Brothers masterpieces including O Brother, Where Art Thou? and The Big Lebowski. Cooke also co-wrote Drive-Away Dolls.

Coen, Cooke, Robert Graf, and Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner of Working Title are the project's producers. Take a look at the above trailer.
