Robert Kelker-Kelly, best known for portraying Bo Brady on the long-running soap opera 'Days of Our Lives,' has died at the age of 62. According to authorities in St. Peters, Missouri, police responded to his home on October 3, 2026, around 8:16 PM after reports of an unconscious man not breathing. CPR was already underway when first responders arrived. Despite efforts, life-saving measures failed.

The St. Peters Police Department stated there was nothing suspicious at the scene and that the circumstances appeared consistent with a medical event. No official cause of death has been released.

Kelker-Kelly began his career in 1987 as Sam Fowler on 'Another World.' He joined 'Days of Our Lives' in 1992, taking over the role of Bo Brady from Peter Reckell. He starred opposite Kristian Alfonso’s Hope Brady and Lisa Rinna’s Billie Reed. His tenure lasted until 1995, when Reckell returned to the role.

In 2001, he portrayed Stavros Cassadine on 'General Hospital,' returning for guest appearances in 2002, 2003, 2013, and 2014. Beyond daytime TV, he appeared in films such as 'Dream for an Insomniac,' 'Winter Heat,' and 'Mr. Write.'

His final public appearance came earlier this year, when former co-star Lisa Rinna accused him of being verbally abusive, manipulative, and emotionally volatile in her memoir, 'You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It.' She described their working relationship as toxic, citing frequent silent treatments and emotional games during filming — especially during intimate scenes. Rinna said the tension was so intense it prompted NBC to assign security for her and Alfonso.

Kelker-Kelly never publicly addressed the allegations. He married Linda Rattner in 1988. They divorced in 1992. In 1997, he married actress Miriam Parrish, with whom he shared a life outside acting. They divorced in 2013. After stepping back from Hollywood, he earned a certification in airframe and powerplant mechanics, taught acting at a Massachusetts charter school, and became a professional pilot, roles he maintained until his death.

Fans and colleagues have expressed grief across social media. Tributes have poured in, highlighting both his legacy on screen and the quiet dignity of his later years. The full story behind his passing remains under wraps, but the confirmation of his death has left a void in American daytime television history.
