Four people are now under arrest in connection with the firing incident involving Tiger Shroff's car, and the case has suddenly grown bigger than one actor.

According to ABP Live, Delhi Police picked up the accused before handing them over to the Maharashtra Police Crime Investigation Department in Mumbai, which has secured three days of transit remand. The four have been named as Kunal and Sumit, both from Sonipat in Haryana, and Radha and Babita, from Uttar Pradesh. Investigators believe Kunal was central to the operation. He had reportedly walked out of jail on bail not long before this.

The twist is the Salman Khan connection. Sources cited by ABP Live say Kunal and two others allegedly scouted Salman Khan's residence, apparently as a target, before calling it off once they clocked the security presence outside his home. Nobody has been charged over this specific allegation yet and it remains part of an active investigation, not an established fact.

How the weapon allegedly travelled

Police say Kunal was introduced to one Anil Pandit through a mutual contact from Harsana village, and the two then spoke through an encrypted app. On Pandit's instructions, Kunal is alleged to have picked up a pistol and 20 rounds from Amritsar and started making his way toward Mumbai.

Somewhere along the way, Kunal roped in Radha, whom he'd reportedly known for about two months, to carry the weapon. On October 15, he allegedly travelled with Radha and Babita to New Delhi railway station, the pistol hidden inside Radha's bag, staying in touch through the same encrypted channel as the women moved.

They reached Mumbai's Dadar station on October 17 and checked into a hotel. By 11 am, police allege, a minor boy had collected the bag from Radha near that hotel. Whether that weapon is the one used in the firing at Tiger Shroff's BMW around 7 pm on October 18 is exactly what investigators are now trying to nail down.

After the shooting, Pandit allegedly told Kunal the shooters were stuck in the city and asked him to sort their exit. Radha and Babita, meanwhile, boarded a train out of Dadar toward Haridwar that same evening, then continued to Delhi.

The net closed on October 20. Police picked up the two women at New Delhi railway station, while Kunal and Sumit were detained in Sonipat. The CID has since obtained court permission to formally arrest all four and bring them to Mumbai.

Tiger Shroff's team had earlier put out a statement following the firing, cautioning fans against fake videos doing the rounds online. With the Salman Khan recce claim now in the mix, this case looks less like a stray attack on one star's car and more like something the Mumbai police will be unpacking for weeks. What happens to Pandit, who hasn't been caught yet, is the next thing to watch.
