Four days before Dolly Parton’s death at 80 on August 25, 2026, her nephew and former head of security, Bryan Seaver, reportedly fired off a series of profanity-laden emails. According to court documents cited by Page Six, Seaver directed harsh language at members of her team, including longtime manager Danny Nozell and employees of She’s Alive, LLC — the company managing Parton’s business interests.
The email exchange, heavily redacted, included threats like "Let’s play ball, you f–king s–tbag loser" and "Go f–k yourself you f–k." It appears to stem from a conflict over security operations at Dolly’s Nashville hotel and museum. Seaver, who had served as head of security for over two decades, was dismissed in mid-September following allegations of intimidation and harassment.
In September, Nozell and She’s Alive, LLC filed for a temporary restraining order against Seaver, citing threats to sabotage core business relationships and using public exposure as use. Employees reportedly stopped reporting to work due to fear. Seaver denied the claims, calling the messages a private emotional exchange during grief. In an interview with TMZ, he described the texts as part of a raw, personal conversation with a friend amid mourning.
