Four days in, and Drishyam: The Conclusion is already rewriting the franchise’s box office playbook. Ajay Devgn’s latest thriller collected a net Rs 21 crore in India on Day 4 alone, playing across 16,274 shows. That pushes its domestic net total to Rs 197.50 crore and gross to Rs 237 crore.

Overseas, the film added Rs 5 crore on Day 4, bringing its international gross to Rs 66 crore. Combined, the worldwide gross now stands at Rs 303 crore — all within a week of release.

That number isn’t just impressive. It’s historic. The Hindi version has already surpassed the entire lifetime worldwide theatrical collection of the original Malayalam film, Drishyam 3: The Past Never Stays Silent, which ended at Rs 237.70 crore. And it did so in four days, not a full run.

The trajectory of the franchise itself is worth noting. The first Drishyam (2015) earned around Rs 107.87 crore. Drishyam 2 (2022) crossed Rs 100 crore in six days and finished at Rs 345 crore worldwide, making it one of the top 25 highest-grossing Hindi films at the time.

Now, Drishyam: The Conclusion is on track to comfortably exceed that mark before its run ends. What’s turning heads in trade circles? The Monday hold. Most films see a steep drop after opening weekend, but this one held remarkably steady. A sign that audience buzz is carrying as much weight as the franchise’s built-in fan base.

Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film’s success suggests a rare blend of nostalgia, suspense, and fresh execution. Fans are calling it the most anxious they’ve felt watching a thriller since the original. Some even say Kamlesh Sawant and Mrunal Jadhav’s performances were career-defining.

With no signs of slowing down, the film is poised to become one of the biggest Hindi releases of the year. The next milestone? Breaking Rs 400 crore worldwide before the end of its theatrical run.
