Kai Cenat launched his own clothing label this weekend, and somehow the biggest talking point isn't the clothes.
The streamer debuted VIVET with a full runway show in New York City on Saturday, September 12, timed to Fashion Week. The guest list read like a group chat gone viral: Lauryn Hill, Jaden Smith, Coi Leray, fellow streamers Duke Dennis and Gioo, and model Alton Mason walking the actual runway. By most accounts, it was Cenat's biggest step yet from streaming into a proper creative business.
But the internet zeroed in on one seat in the front row.
Gabrielle Alayah, known online as Gigi and previously in a public relationship with Cenat, was spotted sitting next to celebrity hairstylist Arrogant Tae. Tae posted footage from the event to his Instagram Story, and one clip in particular set off the speculation: Cenat walking out during the show and appearing to blow a kiss in Gigi's direction. Clipped, reposted and captioned within minutes, naturally.
Gigi didn't dodge the attention either. She posted her own look for the night on her Story, an all-black outfit with pink-highlighted hair, and the VIVET logo sitting right there on her top. Whether that's a gesture of support for an ex's business or something more, she hasn't said.
Neither Cenat nor Alayah has confirmed anything, and that's really the whole story here. The Shade Room, which first flagged the appearance, stopped short of calling it a reconciliation, and so should everyone else. What exists right now is a seating chart, a kiss blown across a runway, and a comments section running wild with theories, according to reactions gathered by the outlet from its own audience.
Cenat and Alayah's relationship history was never exactly private. They dated publicly before splitting, the kind of breakup that plays out across group chats and Twitter threads rather than press statements. So a reunion, confirmed or not, was always going to get this kind of attention the moment cameras caught them in the same room.
For now, VIVET has its first fashion show behind it and a launch that generated exactly the noise a new label wants. Cenat hasn't addressed the Gigi chatter directly, and there's no indication either of them plans to.
Whether this was a one-night appearance or the start of something Cenat and Alayah actually want to talk about is the only question left, and only the two of them can answer it.
