Godzilla Minus Zero’s India release has been pushed to December 18, 2026 — two weeks after its original November 6 date. The delay comes as Ramayana, starring Sai Pallavi and Surya, hits screens on November 5, 2026, with advance bookings already live. No official reason has been given for the shift.
But social buzz points to one cause: a clash with the epic's opening weekend. Ramayana is shaping up to be Bollywood’s biggest event of the year. With pre-sales underway and reports of extra screens being allocated, it’s expected to dominate the box office for weeks. That leaves Godzilla Minus Zero with no room to breathe, not even a single day.
Trade sources say the postponement is a strategic win. “Every film deserves a shot,” one analyst noted. “Better to land in a quieter window than drown in a flood.” Others aren’t convinced. “International films don’t need to bow to Indian blockbusters,” they argue.
