The statement, obtained by Variety, reads: “The cause of death has been ruled as toxic effects of fentanyl, 4‑ANPP, Alprazolam, Methocarbamol and Quetiapine.” It also notes the manner of death as an accident.
Official Findings
Investigators say the actress was found unresponsive on August 16 at an apartment complex in Greenville, South Carolina. Paramedics performed more than 40 minutes of CPR and administered Narcan, the opioid‑reversal drug, before she was pronounced dead. Her on‑again/off‑again boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, and his brother were present and called 911.
The toxicology panel revealed a cocktail of substances: fentanyl, its precursor 4‑ANPP, the anti‑anxiety medication alprazolam, the muscle relaxer methocarbamol and the antipsychotic quetiapine. No signs of external trauma were found, according to the coroner’s report.
