Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan spent Tuesday on the Koffee With Karan couch, shooting their second appearance together on the show, according to Filmfare. The last time they sat there side by side was season three, back in 2010, when they were dating and years away from a wedding ring.
That was 2010. They married in 2012. Sixteen years on, they're back as a couple who've actually been through it together, kids and all.
Kareena hasn't exactly been a stranger to the show in the meantime. She showed up in season six alongside Priyanka Chopra Jonas and again in season eight with Alia Bhatt. But this one's different. Sharing the couch with her husband again, after all this time, gives the episode a built-in nostalgia angle that solo appearances can't really match.
The timing matters too. This shoot comes just hours after Karan Johar announced that season nine will be Koffee With Karan's last run. Johar used the moment to look back at where it all started in 2004, recalling how his father, filmmaker Yash Johar, wasn't exactly convinced anyone would tune in to watch him chat with his friends on television.

So there's something fitting about Kareena and Saif closing out a chapter that opened for Kareena back in the show's third season. Whether the episode leans into their marriage, their kids, or just old Bollywood stories from the 2000s is anyone's guess until it airs. Karan Johar's episodes with long-married couples tend to mine the domestic stuff for laughs, and Saif isn't someone who holds back on the couch.
