Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 is no longer a summer release. The film, which was set to roll out on August 28, 2026, has been pushed to March 5, 2027 — a full seven months later than originally planned. The new date was confirmed with a fresh poster from T-Series Films, captioned: *“Deal Pakki!

The Khoslas are ready to take possession of cinemas with #KhoslaKaGhosla2, arriving on the big screen on 5th March 2027!”* The delay comes despite Anupam Kher stating in January 2026 that 90% of his part was done, and Parvin Dabas confirming filming wrapped up in early August 2026. No official reason for the postponement has been shared by the makers.

Even Dabas admitted he didn’t know why the shift happened. Still, the film’s return is being treated like a cultural event. The original 2006 comedy, a cult favourite built on middle-class dreams, property scams, and Boman Irani’s deadpan menace, remains one of Bollywood’s most enduring comedies. Now, nearly two decades on, the Khosla family is back, Anupam Kher and Boman Irani reprising their roles as Kamal Kishore Khosla and the ever-scheming Kishan Khurana, joined by Ranvir Shorey, Tara Sharma, Kiran Juneja, Ravi Kishan, and others.

Directed by Prashant Bhagia, the sequel is backed by T-Series Films and Tandav Films, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Savita Raj Hiremath, and Raaj Hiremath. The plot remains under wraps, but fans expect more of the same: chaotic plans, bureaucratic nightmares, and a whole lot of ‘patrika’-based scheming. With the release now locked in for March 2027, the real question isn’t whether it’ll land.

It’s how many people will still be waiting for it when it does.
