Khushi Kapoor's latest Bandra purchase isn't the sprawling sea-facing spread you'd expect from a star kid. It's a 180 sq ft flat, the kind that gets filed under 1RK in property listings, and it cost her Rs 63 lakh.

The registration went through on September 1, according to documents accessed by CRE Matrix. The seller was one Farooq Chagla, and the address is Samtadeep Building on 25th Road, Bandra West, a lane that's seen its share of Bollywood money change hands over the years. Stamp duty on the deal came to Rs 3.15 lakh.

Run the numbers and the flat works out to roughly Rs 35,000 per sq ft on carpet area, or about Rs 29,167 per sq ft if you go by the built-up figure of 216 sq ft. Worth flagging: these rates come purely from the registered consideration value. They're not a read on what Bandra West actually trades at right now, which, this being Bandra, is considerably steeper for anything bigger than a shoebox.

Still, the address does the talking. Bandra and neighbouring Pali Hill have been the Bollywood postcode for decades now, prized less for square footage and more for what's around it. Connectivity, the cafes, the fact that half the industry already lives within walking distance. A compact flat here isn't really about space. It's about staying in the zip code.

Khushi is Boney Kapoor and the late Sridevi's younger daughter, and she's been building a filmography steadily since her 2023 debut in Zoya Akhtar's The Archies. She followed that with Nadaaniyan, opposite Ibrahim Ali Khan, and Loveyapa, with Junaid Khan, both in 2025. Neither film set the box office alight and both drew mixed notices, if we're being honest about it.

What's got more people watching her career right now is what comes next. Khushi is reportedly attached to a project being described as a spiritual sequel to Mom, her mother's acclaimed 2017 thriller, with Karishma Tanna in the lead. Details on that one are still thin, but the comparison alone puts a certain weight on it, whether she's ready for that or not.

For now, though, it's a quiet Rs 63 lakh registration and a very small flat in a very expensive part of town. No renovation reveal yet, no interior tour on Instagram. Whether this ends up a pied-à-terre or something more permanent depends on where that filming schedule takes her next.
