Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky have been photographed with their baby for the first time.
Page Six says it obtained the pictures exclusively, showing the singer, 40, carrying the infant close to her chest while walking with her fiancé, 42, somewhere in Northern California. Gaga kept it low-key in loose white trousers, an oversized coat and sunglasses. Polansky was in shorts, a hoodie and flip-flops, the picture of a guy trying very hard to look like he isn't famous-adjacent.
Neither the baby's name, sex nor exact birth date has been made public. Reps for the couple did not respond to requests for comment from Page Six, so officially, nothing has been confirmed on the record. Perez Hilton, citing the same Page Six report, called the arrival "reported" rather than settled, which is the more careful way to put it until Gaga or her team says something themselves.
What isn't in dispute is the timeline. Gaga wrapped her Mayhem Ball tour in April after close to a hundred shows worldwide, and had largely gone quiet since. Perez Hilton notes she was last spotted publicly in August, taking a selfie with a fan in California, and before that at The Grove in Los Angeles back in May. That's a long stretch of low visibility for someone whose entire adult life has played out in public.
A source close to Gaga told Page Six that the retreat from view wasn't really about hiding a pregnancy so much as finally getting some privacy. "She hasn't really gotten to have a private life since she was like 22," the source said, adding that "she's been laying low since the tour ended." The same source described her relationship with Polansky in warmer terms: "They have an amazing biodome of love. Seems like a really safe place for her."
Motherhood hasn't exactly been a secret ambition. In a March 2025 interview with the New York Times, Gaga said, "I'm excited to be a mom. I used to have a lot of apprehension about it." She also admitted to some internal conflict about giving up a life built entirely around her own career. "There's an incredible amount of narcissism in this," she told the paper, talking about how differently a day would run once a child entered the picture. By last October, on Stephen Colbert's show, she was framing it as her next big role, according to Perez Hilton's account of the appearance.
Now that role has apparently started. What comes next is presumably an actual announcement, whenever Gaga and Polansky decide to make one. Until then, this stroll through Northern California is the only confirmation anyone outside their circle is getting.
