Liam Neeson held hands with Stella Stocker as they walked the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday, September 12. Page Six reports the pair were there for the premiere of Evil Genius, directed by Courteney Cox. OK! Magazine describes the same appearance as promotion for a Neeson film it names as Evil Genius as well, though the outlets differ on exactly which project the two are pushing right now, since they're also due to appear together in The Mongoose, out October 30.

Neeson, 74, kept it simple in a black blazer over a black T-shirt with jeans. Stocker wore a black cowl-neck dress, hair pinned up, and at one point squeezed his arm before the two stopped to pose for photographers. Nothing dramatic. Just two people who've made three films together looking comfortable next to each other.

And that history is the point. Stocker and Neeson first worked together on Martin Campbell's Memory in 2022, where she played a character who has a one-night stand with his lead. The same year they turned up in Neil Jordan's Marlowe, per Page Six. Stocker's exact age isn't public, though her agency lists her as able to play roles from 35 to 45. Her other credits include The Batman, Fury and Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, and she grew up between Germany, France and the Congo, which makes her fluent in English and German both.

The hand-holding lands months after Neeson's actual headline romance, with Pamela Anderson, cooled into something murkier. The two worked together on The Naked Gun in 2025 and their chemistry on the promo circuit got plenty of ink at the time. Neeson told People he was "madly in love with her" and introduced her as the "future Mrs. Neeson" at dinner one night. Anderson, for her part, told People in December that the two "were romantically involved for a short while but only after we finished filming," describing an "intimate week" together at his home upstate, with assistants and even family stopping by.

That account got complicated fast. Gossip afterward suggested the whole thing had been a publicity push timed to the film's release, not a real relationship. Page Six quotes an insider pushing back on that read too: "There was instant chemistry but it never developed into an intimate relationship." Whatever it was, Anderson says the two are still close. "I'm sure we will always be in each other's lives," she told People.

Neeson was married to Natasha Richardson from 1994 until her death in 2009, after a skiing accident at Quebec's Mont Tremblant Resort left her with a traumatic brain injury. They had two sons, Micheál and Daniel, now 31 and 30. He dated PR executive Freya St. Johnston for two years afterward and hasn't been publicly linked to anyone since, until the Anderson headlines last year.

The Mongoose opens October 30. Whether Saturday's red carpet was just promo chemistry or something else, we'll find out the same way we always do with Neeson, on the next press tour.
