The Hartford opening night stretched across four seasons and an encore, pulling songs from all three of her albums as the 86-date run got underway.
Olivia Rodrigo's Unraveled Tour is officially on the road. The singer opened at PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford, Connecticut on Friday night with a 23-song set pulled from all three of her records, and the show has already been broken down into competing act structures by the outlets tracking it.
Variety split the setlist into four broad seasons plus an encore. Just Jared, watching the same show, counted six acts, adding a Summer Twilight segment and a Spring 2 closer instead of a single encore block. Both agree on the songs and the order, just not on how Rodrigo herself packaged them for the night.
The run opened with "Drop Dead" and moved through "U + Me = <3," "So American" and "Good 4 U" before sliding into a stretch built around "My Way," "Serena Joy" and "Vampire." The back half leaned into newer, heavier material — "Stupid Song," "Maggots for Brains," "Traitor", before Rodrigo closed with "Driver's License" and "The Cure," the song that gave the tour its name. She repeats the line "I'm unraveled" in that track. The night ended on "Deja Vu," "All American Bitch" and "Expectations."
Eighty-six dates, two continents, one open question
The tour supports "You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love," Rodrigo's third album, released this past June. It's a bigger production than either of her previous runs. "Sour" got her started in 2022. "Guts" ran 102 shows across five continents through 2024 and 2025. Whether Unraveled adds stops in Asia, Australia or South America hasn't been settled, at least not publicly.
Wolf Alice opens through the end of October, with Devon Again taking over the support slot after that and The Last Dinner Party joining from January. Across the Atlantic, Grace Ives opens until mid-April, when Die Spitz picks up the remaining European dates.
The North American leg runs through February, wrapping with ten-night residencies at Los Angeles' Intuit Dome and Brooklyn's Barclays Center. Then it's Europe in March. Amsterdam, Munich, Barcelona, before two shows close things out at London's O2 Arena.
Rodrigo used August to warm up in a different way, curating her first Daisy Chain Fields festival, a women-only lineup that included Chappell Roan, Doechii and Garbage. She closed the night herself, bringing out Alanis Morissette, Sarah McLachlan and Stevie Nicks. Proceeds went to charities supporting women and girls, and Melinda Gates matched the roughly $10 million already raised on the night, pushing the total to $20 million.
Hartford gets a second show Saturday before the tour moves to Pittsburgh on Tuesday. Whether the act structure holds through 86 nights, or whether Rodrigo keeps reshuffling the seasons as she goes, is the thing to watch as the setlist updates roll in city by city.
