Parineeti Chopra is back on Netflix, and this time she’s not playing a mother searching for her child — she’s chasing the story that could cost her everything. Reporting Live, the streaming platform’s latest original, drops on October 9, and its trailer, unveiled today, marks a sharp turn from the emotional intensity of her recent series Shaque. Now, she steps into the role of Sandhya, a reporter who teams up with Deven Bhojani’s Vinod to uncover a web of corruption tied to illegal sand mining in their district.
The film, based on true incidents, is directed by Dhruv Tripathi and co-written by him and Mihir Jadhav. It’s produced by Partha Kiran Thakur and Joshua Shirsath. The trailer opens with a fatal incident, laborers dead after an accident. And quickly shifts to Sandhya and Vinod asking questions.
