New footage reportedly shows Cindy Crawford's son touring his living quarters at a Santa Monica recovery facility the night before he was found dead of a suspected overdose.
New video has surfaced showing Presley Gerber inside his rehab facility on what two sources told Page Six was the last night of his life, roughly a week and a half after the 27-year-old model and son of Cindy Crawford died at Resolutions Living in Santa Monica.
In the clip, Gerber is in a white tank top and black glasses, his neck tattoos visible, filming a walkthrough of his living quarters and the property's balcony, which looks out over the surrounding hills and the city beyond. Page Six reported that the footage was shot on a Saturday night, hours before he was found dead the following morning after what authorities described as an apparent overdose and cardiac arrest.
Resolutions Living isn't a budget operation. The facility is valued at roughly $7.7 million and its website advertises a chef, a private gym, a movie theater and what it calls a three-phase recovery program built around volunteer work and goal-setting. TMZ and other outlets have reported that staff were aware Gerber was already high when he checked in, a detail that will likely sit at the center of whatever review follows his death.
His official cause and manner of death haven't been determined yet. That part of the story remains open, and it's worth saying plainly: nothing here confirms exactly what happened in his final hours beyond what the facility and investigators have disclosed so far.
A family trying to grieve in private
Gerber had spoken publicly for years about depression and addiction, and he pleaded no contest to a DUI arrest back in 2018, which got him three years of probation. A source close to the family told Page Six he'd seemed off in the days before he died, not himself.
The loss has hit his sister Kaia Gerber especially hard. "Kaia and Presley were insanely close," a source told Page Six. "They were way more than brother and sister. They were like best friends." Cindy Crawford, according to the same reporting, has been left devastated and inconsolable over the death of her only son.
The family is reportedly keeping things quiet from here. Presley has been cremated, and his ashes are expected to stay at his parents' home in Malibu rather than go toward any public service. No memorial details have been made public, and it's unclear if the family intends to release any beyond a private gathering.
What happens next largely depends on the coroner's findings and whatever scrutiny Resolutions Living faces over admitting a client who staff reportedly knew was already under the influence. Until that report lands, the footage is the closest thing to an answer anyone outside the family has, and it doesn't actually answer much.
