The elimination came with a warm send-off from Salman Khan, who used his exit segment to comment on how Rohed carried himself through five-odd weeks of nominations, shifting alliances and the general chaos that the house runs on. "Job well done. Well played with dignity. Your are a good man," Salman told him, grammar hiccup and all, going by Bollywood Hungama's report on the episode.
That's not a small compliment coming from a host who has spent seasons calling out contestants for exactly the opposite. Rohed's run inside the house apparently involved the usual churn — changing equations with other contestants, nomination cycles, the works, but whatever he did or didn't do, it was enough to get Salman's approval on the way out.
The exit had one more moment worth noting. Rohed told Salman directly that he wanted to work with him at some point, saying, "I really want to work with you." Salman didn't shut the door. "One day we will work," he said back.
Make of that what you will. It's the kind of line hosts drop on their way out of a segment, and it doesn't amount to a commitment on either side. But for a contestant walking out as the season's first eviction, it's about as good a note to leave on as any. Dignity intact, a compliment from the host, and a line that fans will now replay every time Rohed's name comes up next to Salman's.
Bigg Boss 20 is still very early in its run. First evictions rarely tell you much about who's actually in trouble inside the house, they're usually more about who failed to build a base in week one than who the audience actively wants gone. What it does confirm is that the season's nomination and voting mechanics are working the way they're supposed to, and that the house now has to recalibrate without one of its original 16, or however many, contestants.
What happens next is the standard Bigg Boss churn. New task, new nominations, new frictions, and eventually another Friday or Saturday elimination episode where Salman gets to hand out another verdict. Whether Rohed's exit sparks any backlash on social media over who should have actually gone remains to be seen. For now, the house moves on without him, and Salman's "one day we will work" line is out there for anyone who wants to hold him to it.
