Three songs in, and Prem Keetanu still hasn't given anyone a release date. But the music keeps coming.

Sachet Tandon and Parampara Tandon have put out 'Tu Mera Raiyyo,' the third single off the film's album, after 'Undi Bundi' and 'Kaho Toh' already made the rounds. Kunaal Vermaa wrote the lyrics. The song leans into the soft, aching side of young romance, the kind that turns up in every second track on a film like this, and it plays out on screen between Veer Pahariya and Aafiya Sayed.

Sachet and Parampara had already teased it with a stripped-down performance on social media before the full version dropped. In their joint statement on the release, they said the track would "make you fall in love all over again" and called it one of the biggest songs of the year, adding that it was a joy to sing something that "directly tugs heartstrings." It's now up on Zee Music Company's YouTube channel and across the streaming platforms.

What's notable here isn't the song so much as the roster around it. Prem Keetanu's album runs to seven tracks and the singer list reads like a greatest-hits lineup: B Praak, Armaan Malik, Papon, Jubin Nautiyal, Madhur Sharma, Altamash Faridi, Shashi Suman, Brijesh Shandilya, plus rappers Little Bhatia and Mazemusicc. That's a lot of firepower for a film nobody's seen a trailer for yet.

Gaurav Verma is producing under Avanika Films, with Phars Films co-presenting alongside Bhavana Studios. The story tracks a bunch of youngsters through friendship, first love, one-sided crushes and the heartbreak that comes with growing up, standard coming-of-age territory but clearly one the makers think can carry a full album's worth of feeling.

Director Apoorv Singh Karki is the interesting variable. He made his name on Sirf Ek Banda Kaafi Hai and Aspirants, both far heavier, far more procedural in tone. Prem Keetanu is him going lighter, younger, more youth-market. Veer Pahariya, who plays the lead, is reportedly getting to show off a dancing and comic side here too, a shift from whatever he's done before.

The supporting cast includes Aparshakti Khurana, Rakesh Bedi and Nikhil Vijay, though how much screen time each gets is anyone's guess at this stage.

Four more songs are still to come before this album's done. Whether a release date shows up before or after that last track drops is the actual question hanging over Prem Keetanu right now.
