Spider-Man: Brand New Day has crossed the $2.5 billion global box office mark, cementing its place as only the third film in cinematic history to achieve the milestone — joining Avengers: Endgame and Avatar. The Tom Holland-led Marvel Studios epic, released on July 31, is now tracking as the all-time third highest-grossing film worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo.
Its final theatrical run is nearing completion, with the film set to debut on digital platforms on October 6. The numbers come from estimates compiled across multiple sources, though they have not been independently verified by Koimoi. In its 10th weekend, the film grossed $2.5 million in North America, despite shedding 685 theaters.
That represents a 39.6% decline from the previous week, but still reflects strong staying power. The domestic cumulative total now stands at $954.5 million. Overseas, it earned $4 million during the same period, a drop of just 35.5%, evidence of sustained international appeal. The international total has reached $1.555 billion, bringing the worldwide tally past $2.5 billion.
