Tom Holland has apparently done something no other actor his age has managed. Koimoi reports the Spider-Man star has pushed past Zoe Saldana's cumulative worldwide box office total to become cinema's highest-grossing actor of all time. He's 30.

The numbers, credited to Box Office Mojo, are the kind that make you sit up. Avengers: Endgame alone sits at roughly $2.79 to $2.8 billion worldwide. Spider-Man: Brand New Day, still playing in theatres after its July 31 release, has climbed to $2.45 billion and counting. Throw in Captain America: Civil War's $1.15 billion, and you've got three films past the billion mark before you even get to the rest of the filmography.

Holland's seven biggest titles, per the report, sum to $13.2 billion. That's Civil War, the Spider-Man run, both Infinity War and Endgame, and now Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey. Add Spider-Man: Homecoming's $880.9 million and a supporting cast of other releases including Uncharted, and the actor's total worldwide gross reportedly clears $15.5 billion, edging past Saldana's $15.47 billion.

Worth flagging: Koimoi's own headline pegs the figure at "$15B+" while its copy says the number runs closer to $15.5 billion. Box office totals across an actor's whole career are messy things to tally at the best of times, franchise credits, cameo appearances and re-releases all get counted differently by different trackers, and the outlet itself notes its numbers are estimates that haven't been independently verified.

Still, the direction of travel isn't in doubt. Holland is now the only Marvel actor with three solo billion-dollar movies to his name, and he's got there without the decades of accumulated output that usually build these totals. Saldana got to her number across Avatar, the Marvel universe and other franchise work spanning close to two decades. Holland has done it since 2016.

And Spider-Man: Brand New Day isn't finished either. The film is reportedly on track to become the highest-grossing release in North American box office history, which would push Holland's personal total further out from the field rather than settle it as a one-time crossover.

The Odyssey's own numbers matter here too. Nolan's film has been widely reported this month as Universal's biggest picture ever at the global box office, and its contribution to Holland's tally is part of what got him over the line. Whether that Odyssey haul gets bigger as the film continues its run, and how much further Brand New Day climbs before it exits theatres, will decide how comfortable a lead Holland ends up holding.

For now, the record's his. The gap to whoever's chasing him next is the number worth watching.
