The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth trailer dropped Thursday morning, and Brad Pitt’s stuntman is back — this time in a 1977 Los Angeles that’s less Hollywood glamour, more neon-lit chaos. The new footage confirms what fans suspected: Cliff Booth isn’t just riding the wave of fame anymore. He’s knee-deep in trouble, working as a fixer for actors tangled with Filipino-American gangsters.

The tone? Gritty. The stakes? Personal.

And the setting? A city still reeling from the late ’70s grind, where every handshake could be a threat. Pitt’s return to the role he made iconic in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019) feels like a callback, but this isn’t Tarantino’s world. This is David Fincher’s. Cold.

Calculating. Unforgiving. The trailer doesn’t show much of the plot, but it does show Pitt’s Booth moving through shadows, eyes sharp, fists ready. He’s not saving stars.

He’s cleaning up after them. The cast is stacked: Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan as actor Charlie Peters, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Peter Weller, Matt Groove, JB Tadena, Corey Fogelmanis, Karren Karagulian. Pitt’s producing alongside Ceán Chaffin, marking his fourth collaboration with Fincher, after Seven, Fight Club, and Benjamin Button.

That track record alone should set expectations high. Netflix will stream the film on December 23. No word yet on whether it’ll hit Indian theatres. But if the trailer’s anything to go by, it won’t be a light watch.

It’s not even close.
