Somebody fed two Jennifer Hudson Show clips into an editing tool and broke the internet's brain a little.

Tyler Perry sat down with Jennifer Hudson on September 14, opening her show's fifth season. Law Roach followed three days later, on September 17, for episode four. Neither appearance had anything to do with the other. But on Threads, writer and political strategist Brittany Packnett Cunningham, posting as @mspackyetti, cut footage from both segments together so it looks like Perry and Roach are dancing around each other in the show's signature spirit tunnel. Her caption was blunt: "I'm not playing with y'all no more."

That one post has pulled more than 400 comments and upward of 1,700 shares, The Shade Room reported. And that's just the original. Other users have reposted the edit, racking up their own comment threads, and different versions keep swapping out the theme music running under the clip. One remix, captioned "We're The Perry's!!", adds Instagram personality NotKarltonBanks, real name Karlton Humes, doing his own spirit-tunnel walk alongside them. Humes has been a Jennifer Hudson Show regular too, which is presumably why he got pulled into the bit.

The resemblance jokes have taken on a life of their own in The Shade Room's comments. One user wrote that all three men must share "the same lady" as a mother, insisting she birthed triplets. Another joked that Roach is "gonna cuss y'all smooth out" once he sees it. Someone else called it "the Tyler Perry Triplets," and a few compared the whole bit to the old Sister, Sister theme song switch, since the edited clip keeps swapping soundtracks. As of now, neither Perry nor Roach has said a word about any of it.

What actually happened on the show, before the internet got its hands on it, is worth remembering too. Perry used his sit-down to talk up "Why Did I Get Married," his latest film now streaming on Netflix, and admitted, when Hudson pushed him on it, that he has no interest in marriage himself given what he's watched divorce do to people close to him. Roach, for his part, wasn't giving anything up about Zendaya and Tom Holland's marriage when Hudson tried. He talked instead about judging on Project Runway and paid tribute to the late costume designer Bob Mackie.

None of that stopped the internet from deciding the real story was two Black men on the same talk show set looking a little alike. The edit keeps spreading, the jokes keep stacking, and at some point somebody's going to ask Perry or Roach about it on camera. Until then, the spirit tunnel remains undefeated.
