The film opened on Friday with Rs 1.65 crore, per figures reported by Bollywood Hungama, then actually grew from there, something not every mid-week Bollywood release manages these days. Saturday brought Rs 2.41 crore, up 46% on the opening day. Sunday added another Rs 2.52 crore, a smaller bump of about 4.5% over Saturday but still an increase. Three days in, the film had banked Rs 6.58 crore. Not a blockbuster number, but a curve pointing the right way.
Then came the first Monday, and the curve bent hard.
Vibe collected Rs 0.90 crore on Day 4, a fall of over 64% from Sunday's number. That's also nearly 46% below what the film made on its opening Friday, which tells you this isn't the usual weekday dip so much as a genuine stall. Four days in, the total domestic haul sits at Rs 7.55 crore.
The pattern isn't unfamiliar. Films built on weekend walk-ins, word of mouth still forming, festival-adjacent audiences, tend to see this kind of correction once the Monday crowd, largely different from the Friday-to-Sunday one, decides whether to show up. What matters now is what Tuesday through Thursday look like. A single bad Monday doesn't sink a film's theatrical run on its own. A second and third one in a row usually does.
Right now Vibe sits in that in-between zone. Rs 7.55 crore after four days isn't a number that screams trouble, but it isn't one that buys much runway either, especially with the kind of weekday collapse the film just posted. Distributors will be watching whether the drop stabilises or keeps compounding, because that decides how many screens the film holds onto heading into its second weekend.
No studio statement has followed the numbers yet, and there's no word on whether promotional activity is being stepped up to arrest the slide. For now, the story is in the daily numbers themselves. Whatever Tuesday brings will say more about Vibe's actual theatrical shelf life than the opening weekend did.
