Vikrant Massey's Musafir Cafe is reportedly stepping off the screen. The National Award-winning actor is said to be building two actual Musafir Cafés, one in Himachal Pradesh and one in Uttarakhand, through his production banner Homemade Stories.

The cafés are being designed as replicas of the set from the show, right down to the visual details fans would recognise from the series. Around 20 rooms are also planned across the two locations, meant to function as artist residencies rather than standard hotel stays.
