Yami Gautam Dhar and Aanand L. Rai are in Ayodhya for a special evening event at Ram Ki Paidi, just days ahead of the theatrical release of Nayyi Navelli on October 16, 2026. The gathering marks a deliberate fusion of cinematic anticipation and cultural reverence, with singer Sadhu Tiwari set to perform the devotional song ‘Awadhiya Ke Raja’ live — a track originally rendered by Shreya Ghoshal and composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar under the Zee Music label.
The bhajan, penned by lyricist Vayu, is central to the film’s emotional and spiritual tone, forming part of the album that bridges storytelling with tradition. The event coincides with the release of a new track from the soundtrack: ‘Phata Patakha’, an energetic, quirky number featuring Yami Gautam Dhar at the heart of a surreal zombie dance sequence.
Choreographed by Vijay Ganguly, the song bursts with high-octane energy and visual absurdity, described by Madhubanti Bagchi, whose vocals feature prominently. As ‘pure, uninhibited madness packed with humour and incredible energy’. She added that the collaboration between composer G. V. Prakash Kumar and lyricist Vayu made it one of the most exciting recordings she’s ever done.
