One outlet says Venkatesh's family entertainer faces another delay beyond October 9, while another says promotions and overseas bookings prove the date is locked.
Nobody seems to agree on when Aadarsha Kutumbam is actually releasing, and that's the story right now.
Track Tollywood reported on Friday that the Venkatesh and Trivikram Srinivas film, also going by House No 47 or AK47, is staring at a second postponement in under a month. The film was first dated for October 2, then moved to October 9. Now, per that report, industry sources are pointing to a further slip of one to two weeks, with the reason cited as post-production work that isn't quite done yet.
That's a rough beat for a film whose producer, Naga Vamsi, had personally confirmed the October 2 date earlier this month. Track Tollywood's piece frames the delay as an attempt to fine-tune the final cut so the family entertainer lands the way the team wants it to.
But 123telugu, publishing a few hours later, tells a different story entirely. Its report calls the fresh delay talk unfounded and points to hard evidence against it: the first single was released today, the offline and online promotional push has begun, and overseas bookings are reportedly open. None of that is standard behaviour for a film about to get pushed again.
So take your pick. Either the makers are quietly buying time in post while running a promotional campaign to keep the buzz alive, or the delay chatter is exactly that, chatter, and October 9 holds. As of this filing, there's no official word from Haarika & Hassine Creations or from Naga Vamsi's camp confirming either version.
What both reports agree on is the shape of the film itself. Trivikram Srinivas has written and directed it, with Venkatesh leading a cast that includes Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead, Nara Rohit, Nivetha Pethuraj, Rao Ramesh, Satya, Brahmaji and Vennela Kishore. 123telugu's list also names Dimple Hayathi and Pujitha Ponnada among the supporting cast. Thaman is composing the music, and S Radhakrishna, known as Chinababu, is producing under the Haarika & Hassine Creations banner.
The teaser that came out earlier this month reportedly landed well, which is part of why any further delay would sting. A film with goodwill sitting in the bank doesn't usually want to sit on it too long.
For now, the safest thing to say is that nothing is confirmed either way. If the makers are eyeing a slip past October 9, an official statement will have to come soon, because overseas trade doesn't wait around for clarity. And if 123telugu has it right, expect the promotional drip, posters, trailer, event, to pick up pace through next week with October 9 still standing as the date to beat.
