Ajay Devgn walked onto the FICCI Frames stage on Tuesday and didn’t waste a moment. He announced that the third chapter of the Drishyam saga, titled Drishyam The Conclusion, is already in the hands of audiences and, in his view, outdoes the 2022 follow‑up.
"I watched it yesterday and, for me, it’s stronger than the second film," he said, flashing a grin that hinted at confidence. "We’re keeping our fingers crossed for the audience reaction."
The actor’s remarks came just two days before the film hits theatres on 2 October 2026. The timing is deliberate – the buzz machine is already humming, and early ticket sales suggest a robust start. Sacnilk reports that advance bookings have crossed the Rs 25 crore mark, a figure that usually signals a solid opening weekend.

The panel also cleared up a lingering question: Drishyam The Conclusion is not a remake of any Malayalam third instalment. The original Malayalam films, starring Mohanlal, concluded with the second part, and this Hindi version takes the story in a fresh direction.
Speaking of Mohanlal, Devgn revealed he tried to get the Malayalam legend’s blessing. "I rang him up because his nod would mean a lot," he said, adding that the actor was on holiday but promised to watch the film soon.
