Ajith Kumar’s next film, Dare Devil, has officially begun with a pooja ceremony today — and the countdown to his 64th movie is now in full swing. The film, previously known as AK64, marks a reunion with director Adhik Ravichandran after the box office success of Good Bad Ugly. Fans are already buzzing over the first-look poster: Ajith lounges in a leather chair, salt-and-pepper hair slicked back, sunglasses on, title spelled out in dice, sleek, sharp, and instantly iconic.

No more waiting. The shoot starts post-Diwali, with Hyderabad as the first stop, followed by Malaysia and Bangkok. Scheduled to run through February 2027, it’s shaping up to be a long haul. Sreeleela steps into her first lead opposite Ajith, while Unni Mukundan joins the cast, confirmed by sources, though not yet official.

R. Parthiban, Prabhu, and Sunil are also part of the ensemble. Most this is Shalini Ajith Kumar’s debut as a producer under Bravehearts Production. Anirudh Ravichander returns for music, his fourth collaboration with the actor. The film’s tone?

High-octane, stylish, and loaded with star power. Diwali may be the festival of lights, but for fans, Dare Devil just lit the fuse.
