Ajith Kumar’s next film, Dare Devil, is officially on the move — and it’s bringing a familiar face back into the fold. Sreeleela has been confirmed as part of the cast, according to director Adhik Ravichandran, who spoke to Behindwoods TV. The film, which marks their second collaboration after Good Bad Ugly, will begin shooting on November 12 at 8:05 AM in Hyderabad, a shift from earlier plans that had filming starting on November 2.

The change is reportedly due to Chennai’s unpredictable weather. The title itself is Ajith’s doing. Just like Good Bad Ugly, he pitched Dare Devil. He also personally wanted Prabhu in the film, citing their strong bond.

Parthiban, Sunil, and Prabhu are all set to share screen space with Ajith. No word yet on whether the film will be shot in Thailand or Malaysia, though production is planning international sequences. Music will once again come from Anirudh Ravichander, his fourth collaboration with Ajith, following Vivegam, Vedalam, and Vidaamuyarchi.

The film is expected to be a family entertainer, aiming for wider appeal than its predecessor.

Good Bad Ugly saw Ajith play AK, a former crime lord turned reformed man, who returns to action after his son is framed. The film was a box office success and earned praise for its layered storytelling.

Now, with Dare Devil, fans are wondering if this one will follow a similar tone, or veer into something darker, given the title. One thing’s certain: the red carpet won’t be the focus here. This is about the start of a new chapter, and the clock is ticking. November 12 isn’t just a date.

It’s a signal. The machine is turning.
