Three days. That's all Gayathri Suresh got inside the Bigg Boss Malayalam house before she was shown the door, and the manner of her exit is what's got people talking.

The actor and model, who walked into season 8 as one of its more closely watched contestants, was evicted early in the run, according to Oneindia Malayalam. The outlet reported that the decision came without the audience getting a say in it, a move that's landed badly with viewers used to eviction nights built around public voting.

Bigg Boss Malayalam has leaned hard into surprise twists this season, throwing curveballs from day one that previous seasons didn't attempt this early. Suresh's sudden exit is being read as part of that pattern, though the show hasn't laid out its reasoning in detail. Some viewers argue she had the makings of a contestant who could have shaped the season. Others are simply annoyed that a name they were invested in didn't get the runway.

Into that gap has stepped a fan named Bijin, whose note defending Suresh is doing the rounds online. His argument, as carried by Oneindia Malayalam, is less about the eviction call itself and more about the pile-on that's followed Suresh through much of her career.

Bijin's note traces her arc from an easy entry into Malayalam cinema, opposite Kunchacko Boban in a debut that got noticed, and a later role alongside Tovino Thomas, into a run of off-screen episodes that turned her into an easy target for online mockery. He isn't disputing that things happened. He's asking whether the ridicule that followed matched the scale of it. His answer is no.

What struck him inside the Bigg Boss house, he wrote, was that Suresh didn't play into the trolling. She didn't lash out, didn't cry on her way out, just walked off with what he called quiet dignity. For a contestant who's spent years being the punchline, that restraint is the point of his note. He wants her seen past the memes, and he isn't alone in that.

Whether this eviction sticks is the open question. Bigg Boss shows have pulled reversal twists before, and a section of fans online are already hoping this is one of them, that Suresh gets called back once the current shake-up plays out. Oneindia Malayalam's report doesn't confirm any such move is planned.

For now, Suresh is out, the criticism over how it happened hasn't died down, and season 8 has already shown it isn't following last year's script. Whether the show reverses course, or whether this is simply how it means to run this time, should become clear in the eviction rounds still to come.
