The episode opens away from the ritual site, inside a house where Visalakshi has been on edge since Gunasekaran's visit. Her worry is specific. Once the Aiyyanar "kattu" is performed, she fears something will go wrong, and she can't shake it. Janani tries to talk her down, telling her aunt not to worry, that nothing will happen to her or to her child, and that Meenakshi Amman is watching over both of them.

Cut to the actual plan. Gunasekaran and Rana have already slipped him into the pooja location without the police noticing. Rana then goes back for Arivukarasi and Mullai, bringing them to the same spot. On the way, he makes Arivukarasi a promise: once this ritual is done, her sister's marriage to Tharshan can go ahead, no more obstacles. She isn't to worry about anything, he tells her.

The two then go looking for Gunasekaran himself, and this is where the episode's real tension sits. Rana tells him the police did show up searching for him, but the family managed to send them off. The officers have no idea he's already inside. They're working on the assumption he'll turn up only when the pooja actually begins, which buys him a window. Rana's instruction is simple: finish the ritual, no complications.

Arivukarasi backs that up, telling her uncle the whole family is standing behind him and he should go ahead without hesitation. That's the cue for Gunasekaran to pick up the trident and take on Aiyyanar's aggressive stance, setting up the pooja itself.

The episode ends there, mid-ritual, with the police theoretically still searching and Gunasekaran theoretically still hidden in plain sight. Sun TV's serial has built its recent run on exactly this kind of stacked tension, a wedding on hold, a manhunt in progress, and a ceremony that everyone insists will fix both.
