Hanuman Ansh is heading to Telugu theatres on October 9, 2026 — a full-scale release, not a dub, and not just another regional rollout. Hombale Films has confirmed the worldwide theatrical launch of the spiritual drama in Telugu, following its successful Hindi debut on August 9. The film, based on the book Divine Detour, tells the story of Shri Neeb Karori Baba, a revered spiritual figure whose life and teachings form the core of the narrative.

Written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, the film explores themes of devotion, faith, and spiritual awakening, a quiet but potent journey that’s already resonated with audiences across India. The production house shared a new poster on social media, announcing the Telugu version with a message that leaned into the film’s tone: “We are delighted to bring the much loved #HanumanAnsh in TELUGU, for audiences to witness its divine brilliance on the big screen across the world.” The announcement comes after the film crossed Rs. 300 crore at the box office, becoming the second 2026 release to do so after Dhurandhar The Revenge.

That success has now paved the way for wider reach. Hombale Films, known for major pan-India hits like the KGF franchise, Kantara, Salaar, and Mahavatar Narsimha, is handling the global distribution of this version as well. The film stars Shobhinaw Satyaa, Vihaan Shedge, and Chandan Anand, with production credits going to Ragini S, Namrata G Singh, Anupriya A Nagar, and Vishal Chaturvedi himself.

The Telugu release is part of a broader strategy to expand the film’s audience beyond Hindi-speaking regions, without diluting its central focus on spiritual transformation. Hombale’s upcoming slate includes Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam, Mahavatar Parshuram, Suriya 48, and Yeto Ka Naay, and the banner is also set to collaborate with Hrithik Roshan on an upcoming project.

With October 9 falling on a Friday, the film will open in a competitive window. But the makers seem confident that the story’s resonance will carry it through. The next move? Let the screens fill.
