The reality star also revealed in a new interview that she has become a late convert to a genre she barely watched until recently: reality television itself.
Kim Kardashian posted a fresh batch of Paris photos on Friday, days after Lewis Hamilton shared his own set from what looks like a running string of dates in the French capital. Between the two accounts, the picture that emerges: dinner at Ferdi, a Celine Dion concert, and a boat ride with champagne somewhere on the Seine.
Hamilton put his photos up first earlier in the week. Kardashian followed on Friday afternoon with her own carousel, confirming what fans had already pieced together from the F1 driver's posts. Neither has issued any formal statement beyond the images themselves, so read into the captions what you will.
The Paris trip lands the same week Kardashian sat down with Entertainment Tonight and made an admission that had nothing to do with Hamilton at all. She isn't, by her own account, someone who has historically watched much reality television, despite being one of its defining faces for two decades.
"This might sound crazy, but I wasn't the biggest reality TV watcher, until Love Is Blind," she told ET. "So, I've just started to really get into Love Is Blind, Love Island... Temptation Island... And it's changed my life. Love is Blind, I will watch in every country... Every dubbed, you know, what are they called, subtitles!"
She was careful to clarify that the late start wasn't a snub to the genre that built her career. "I definitely don't want to disrespect reality TV," she said. "I love reality TV. But I just never watched TV [in general]. And so I just started getting into shows. I don't know what took so long."
It's a slightly odd thing to hear from someone whose family basically invented a certain strain of modern reality programming, but it tracks with something Kardashian has said before: she was too busy building the empire to sit and watch anyone else's version of it. Now, apparently, she's binging Netflix's pod experiment across multiple languages.
As for Hamilton, the pairing has been building in public view for a few weeks now, moving from occasional photos together to what now looks like a genuine, sustained thing playing out across two continents' worth of paparazzi and Instagram grids. Paris in September isn't a bad place to have it happen.
What neither of them has done yet is put a label on it, publicly or otherwise. Whether that changes before the F1 season wraps, or whether this stays a couple of very photogenic European getaways, is the only real open question left hanging over this one.
