Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha spent part of their Tuesday on the internet's favourite time machine, the 80s trend, and came back with a carousel that's part AI trickery, part genuine couple photos.

The post opens with the two of them dressed head to toe in retro colour, the kind of palette that only existed, apparently, before 1990. One frame, clearly AI-generated, shows them sharing cotton candy like they've wandered off the set of a decade they never actually lived through. Another has Parineeti stretched out on a bed, magazine in hand, doing her best impression of an old film still.

Then it gets personal. There's a shot of Parineeti's hand resting on Raghav's shoulder, another of him with his head in her lap, and one where the two are hunched over a video game console like it's a Sunday afternoon in 1987. The album closes on Parineeti mid-makeup, which feels like the most honest picture in the whole set.

The caption is where she has some fun at Raghav's expense, or maybe at time's expense. "80s babies, in the 80s baby!" she wrote, adding, "Why couldnt we have met the moment we were born? Need to discuss @raghavchadha88."

It's the kind of post that doesn't need context to work, and it got plenty of attention within minutes of going up.

Parineeti and Raghav got married on September 24, 2023, in Udaipur, a wedding that was small by Bollywood standards and heavy on family. They've since had a son, Neer, born on October 19, 2025, which makes this 80s detour one of the more lighthearted things they've posted since becoming parents.

On the work front, Parineeti isn't slowing down. She's making her OTT debut with Shaque: Trust No One, a series created by Rensil D'Silva and Siddharth P. Malhotra, with D'Silva also directing. The cast list is stacked, Soni Razdan, Anup Soni, Jennifer Winget, Harleen Sethi, Dhruv Chowdhary and Sumeet Vyas all feature, though a release date hasn't been confirmed yet.

For now, the internet gets an 80s fantasy and one very specific question about timing that Raghav will presumably have to answer at home.
