Brahmamudi's September 8 episode, the 1132nd, opens on the fallout from a bombshell that landed a day earlier. Indhu had told the family she already knew about Siri, the woman Raj reportedly married before her, and that he'd spent two years and lakhs of rupees on her treatment after an accident that killed her father and left her in a coma. Raj's friend had talked him out of turning himself in at the time, and Indhu had promised to stand by him regardless.

That confession knocked the wind out of Rekha's plan. She'd hoped exposing the first marriage would turn the house against Raj. Instead Indhu absorbed the news and defended him anyway, and Bhramaramba isn't shy about saying so. Bhushan piles on too, needling Rekha over how a woman who never used to fail is suddenly struggling, and Sesham chips in with his own theory: the household ran however the women pleased until Raj arrived, and he blames the son-in-law for Rekha's recent losing streak.

Rekha isn't done, though. She tells the family Lucky is the answer, since a plan can undo what a weapon can't. Get Lucky on side, she says, and Raj can be hit where his best friend used to stand guard. Bhushan doesn't need convincing twice, he says he's in for whatever it takes to get the property.

Meanwhile Chalapathi confronts Indhu over Raj's silence about Siri, furious that his son married again without telling anyone about an earlier wife. Venky tells Indhu she shouldn't compromise on something this personal, but Indhu holds her ground, insisting Raj must have a real reason for keeping quiet and that he'll explain everything eventually. Aparna presses her too, asking what she plans to do now that the man she loves turns out to be already married. Indhu's answer is the same: she'll marry him regardless, and the truth will surface on its own timeline.

The episode's real swerve comes at breakfast. Rekha, who has spent the show holding Lucky at arm's length, walks over unannounced, serves him herself and feeds him when he hesitates to eat. She tells him to call her amma instead of madam. Lucky, visibly shaken, breaks down. Bhushan follows it up by asking to be called father, and Rekha announces she's throwing a party to formally introduce Lucky as her elder son in front of the whole family.

Raj can't quite believe it and says as much to Indhu, who reads it as payoff for Lucky's patience. Indhu, though, isn't buying the sentiment. She tells Raj something feels off about how quickly Rekha's resistance melted, given how unmoved she'd been until now. Raj, guilt-ridden over having driven Madan out of the house earlier, decides this might be his opening to bring Madan back into Rekha's fold as well, reasoning that having both sons around her might finally soften her anger toward the family.

Whether Rekha's warmth toward Lucky is genuine affection or the opening move of the sabotage she promised remains the question the show is clearly setting up for its next episodes.
