Whitney Leavitt is stepping out from the group — and into her own spotlight. Hulu has greenlit a new reality series starring the former Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, marking her first solo project since exiting the hit show in May after five seasons. The untitled series will follow Leavitt, her husband Conner, and their three children, Sedona, Liam, and Billy, as they navigate fame, family, and her growing career ambitions.

She’ll executive produce through her newly launched Leavitt Media House, alongside Jeff Jenkins Productions, 3BMG, and a slate of producers including Russell Jay-Staglik, Amanda Weinstein, Brandon Beck, Ross Weintraub, and Reinout Oerlemans. No premiere date has been set, but sources confirm it’s already in production. The move comes just weeks after the launch of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County, which features several original cast members, including Jen Affleck, who’s now facing divorce proceedings ahead of the season’s debut.

Leavitt’s exit from the main series was announced during a Broadway performance of Chicago, where she played Roxie Hart, a role that itself became part of the show’s narrative arc. Since then, she’s starred in the holiday rom-com All for Love (Netflix, Nov 24), returned to Broadway in Just in Time (Dec 1), and joined the next celebrity season of The Traitors.

Her fans have long pushed for a spin-off. “Y’all keep asking for a Leavitt reality show… careful what you wish for,” she teased in June. Now, the wish is official. Whether the world wants to watch her life outside the collective remains to be seen.

But the camera’s rolling. And she’s ready. In May, she confirmed the launch of Leavitt Media House with a post captioned, “SECRET’S OUT!!!!!! ‘Leavitt Media House’ Production has officially launched and we’re working on something big!!!!!!!!!” She also told E!

News in June that they were “in the development of an unscripted show right now,” adding, “I’m really excited to be able to share more about it, so we’ll see.” Her departure from the series wasn’t sudden. In March, she told The Hollywood Reporter she wouldn’t be where she is without the show, but that “it feels like it’s time to challenge myself in other ways and fulfill these dreams and passions that I’ve been trying to get even before the show.” She’d previously appeared on Dancing with the Stars Season 34, finishing sixth with Mark Ballas.

Her feature film debut came in All for Love, which she also exec produced through her company. The new Hulu series is the latest expansion of the Mormon Wives universe, which now includes multiple spin-offs and a growing roster of personalities. But this one is different, no ensemble, no shared drama, just Leavitt, her family, and the quiet ambition behind the scenes.

The question isn’t whether she can carry a show. It’s whether anyone still wants to watch her do it alone.
