Twelve days in, Yash's Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is sitting at close to Rs 337.80 crore worldwide, and the film is now angling for the Rs 340 crore mark as it enters its second Monday. The numbers, tracked by Sacnilk, tell a story of a film that opened like a juggernaut and has spent the last week and a half figuring out how to hold a room.

Start with day one. Rs 101.10 crore net in India, alone. That's the kind of number that used to be a first-weekend target for most films. By the time the first seven days wrapped, the India net stood at Rs 239.30 crore, which means the entire second week combined has added roughly Rs 6 crore to that pile. Day 10 brought in Rs 1.75 crore, day 11 climbed to Rs 2.28 crore, and the second Sunday landed at Rs 2.42 crore, taking the India net total to about Rs 245.75 crore and the gross to around Rs 293.30 crore.

That second-weekend uptick, small as it is, matters. Occupancy improved across Friday to Sunday even though the absolute numbers remain a fraction of what the film did in its first week. Sacnilk pegs second-Sunday occupancy at 30.5 percent across 1,775 shows, which for a film past its second weekend isn't a disaster, but it isn't a victory lap either.

Kannada carries the weight, Hindi lags

Among the language versions, Kannada is doing the heavy lifting. It contributed close to Rs 1.45 crore on day 12 alone, with 32 percent occupancy, the strongest of any version tracked. Hindi trailed at roughly Rs 0.85 crore and 31 percent occupancy, a number that will draw attention given how much the marketing push leaned on Toxic as a pan-India release with Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Nayanthara all in the frame alongside Yash.

Overseas, the film added about Rs 0.50 crore on day 12, pushing its foreign total to roughly Rs 44.50 crore. Combine that with the India numbers and you get the Rs 337.80 crore worldwide figure through 12 days.
