Ganesh Acharya, the veteran choreographer known for his work across Indian cinema, has officially unveiled the trailer for his first directorial venture, Ganesh Dust To Stardust. The film, set to hit theatres on December 11, 2026, marks a personal milestone for the artist, who has long been behind the camera but now steps into the director’s chair.
Starring Shivanshu Soni, Alok Shaw, Sukanya Kalan, and Sakshi Pawaskar, the film centers on individuals navigating the harsh realities of pursuing their dreams. It blends emotional drama with dance as a narrative device, reflecting Acharya’s belief that ambition alone isn’t enough — perseverance, sacrifice, and relentless effort are equally vital.
"I have always believed that everyone has the right to dream, but dreams don’t come true just by dreaming," Acharya said in a statement accompanying the trailer. "You have to work hard, make sacrifices and keep moving forward, no matter how difficult the journey gets." The film, he added, is deeply personal, drawing from his own experiences and vision.
Producer Soundarya Acharya, his daughter, echoed the sentiment, calling the project a labor of love. "Watching my father bring this vision to life has been incredibly special," she said. "He has put immense passion, hard work and emotion into every aspect of this film."
The film is written and directed by Acharya, with screenplay and dialogues co-written by Digangana Suryavanshi. Junaid Kumar composed the music and background score, while Sameer Anjaan and Acharya penned the lyrics. Cinematography is by Ajay Pandey, editing by Rakesh Ram, and production design handled by Amrish Yamanappa Patange and Daya Vanniyar of Red Ameise. Choreography remains a core element, led by Acharya and his team.
