Theo Rossi and Ron Perlman have wrapped filming on Renew, a new horror-thriller that marks their reunion after years of working together on Sons of Anarchy, Come With Me, and The Saviors. The film, which has been shot in Red Lodge and Roberts, Montana, is now in post-production, with a first-look image released by Deadline. It’s being described as a suspense-driven story that starts as an intimate love narrative before plunging into visceral terror.

The plot follows a couple returning to the secluded Montana ranch where they were married to renew their vows — hoping to leave their past behind. But when the wife vanishes without a trace, her husband is dragged back into a life he’d spent years trying to outrun. Beneath the ranch’s serene surface, a hidden evil stirs.

Rossi co-wrote the screenplay with director Tommy DeNucci, who previously worked with him on Vault and Play Dirty. The cast also includes Rachelle Goulding (Suits LA), Ronnie Gene Blevins, Allison Dunbar, Sam Daly, Danny Rivera, Rebecca Creskoff, Darko Ostojic, Bonnie Gayle Sparks, Barron Boedecker, and Chris Wilks. Diana Hull and Rossi are producing, with Nicholas Carmona serving as long-time producing partner.

Rossi called the film a chance to explore “hope, humor and heart” within a relationship burdened by history, “how far someone will go for the person they love.” DeNucci emphasized the need for emotional authenticity: the more real Randy and Liz’s bond feels, the sharper the horror becomes when it shatters.

And yes, the two stars are already set to re-team in the upcoming Sons of Anarchy reboot, Legends. That one’s still months away. This? Likely not.

No release date yet. But the buzz is building.
