Shriya Saran has spoken out against AI-morphed images of herself, calling the non-consensual digital alterations 'annoying' and 'not right'. The Drishyam 3 actor, who’s currently riding high on the success of the franchise’s latest installment, said she often can’t tell if a photo is real or manipulated — especially when her body shape is altered in ways that feel surreal. 'Sometimes I don't even know if it's me or not,' she told News18. 'They change the size of your b*s, suddenly the cape that you were wearing is gone or your a looks bigger.' She added that while AI has its uses, it also demands a new kind of vigilance: 'You’ve to take it with a pinch of salt.' Her comments come just days after Jahnvi Kapoor became another victim of AI-generated leaks from Devara, highlighting a growing trend of deepfake intrusions into celebrity privacy. Shriya, who turned 25 years in the industry this year, is now part of a film that’s grossed ₹489.74 crore worldwide, ₹378 crore from India alone, per Sacnilk. With Drishyam 3 already in the Rs 400 crore club, her next moves are under scrutiny: Hera Pheri 3 and Race 4 are reportedly in the works. But for now, the conversation isn’t about roles. It’s about control. And whether the screen still belongs to the person behind it.
