Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar, starring Parvathy Thiruvothu as a grieving cop drawn into a web of secrets, launches on Amazon Prime Video this Thursday. The film is one of several regional releases this week, but it’s the only one making waves before the first frame plays.
Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar has crossed ₹26 crore net after 27 days, overtaking Bharathanatyam 2 Mohiniyattam and securing its place as the sixth highest-grossing Mollywood film of 2026. Still screening in over 300 theatres, the Parvathy Thiruvothu-starrer survives on word of mouth — not hype.
Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar hits Netflix on October 9 — the Malayalam thriller that turns cops into suspects is finally going OTT. After a strong theatrical run, the film will stream in Malayalam and dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar earns 43 lakh net on its fourth Friday, pushing its India total to 24.73 crore. It surpasses Thudakkam’s lifetime earnings and is now on track to beat I’m Game.
Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar has overtaken Thudakkam's lifetime India total to become 2026's highest-grossing female-led Mollywood film, with Parvathy Thiruvothu's fourth week still adding steady numbers at the box office.
The film’s quiet dominance is a rare win in a year where even big names have stumbled. But for Parvathy, the real story isn’t the box office. It’s the seven years it took to manifest a thriller that still makes her voice crack when she talks about it.
The Tamil musical sequel Meesaya Murukku 2 has amassed a net 19.35 crore in five days, closing in on Idhayam Murali's lifetime haul, while Malayalam cop drama Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar clocks 23.61 crore after 19 days, poised to overtake two fellow releases.
Parvathy Thiruvothu’s latest Malayalam police drama has turned a quiet opening into a box‑office win, collecting 21.89 crore net in just 16 days and surpassing Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Khalifa, which earned 21.58 crore during its run.
Parvathy Thiruvothu is playing three cops across three languages at once, a constable in the hit Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar, a dubbed voice for Kareena Kapoor Khan in Daayra, and a DCP in Dhootha 2.
