The Vvaan earned roughly Rs 7 crore on its first day, driven by Bihar’s festive crowds. National multiplexes contributed about half the takings, while the film’s hefty budget still leaves it short of the double‑digit opening it needs.
Tamannaah Bhatia has signed on as the ambassador for Joy Personal Care’s lotion and cream line. The partnership will see her in TV spots, digital ads and social posts, promoting the brand’s ‘Beautiful by Nature’ philosophy while she promotes her latest film, The Vvaan.
Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia’s The Vvaan sold 42,000 tickets by mid‑morning, grossing just over one crore rupees, and may open with 5‑6 crore after a weekend of no competition.
